Vtg Anton Pieck Decoupage Purse TrinketBox 1977 Cottagecore Jewelry Box no strap

This vintage purse-shaped decoupage box is dated 1977 and signed Leverett on the underside, likely identifying the artisan who handcrafted the piece. The decoupage panels appear to feature reproductions of artwork by Dutch illustrator Anton Pieck, including scenes believed to be from The Golden Apple.  Originally designed as a decorative purse, the shoulder strap is no longer present. One original hardware attachment is included with the purchase (shown in photos) should the new owner wish to recreate a strap for display or light decorative use.  Despite being nearly 50 years old, this piece is in excellent vintage condition. The decoupage remains vibrant, the interior is remarkably clean and well preserved, and the hinge and clasp function properly. Please review all photos, as they are part of the description.
